Apply Today & Serve!

Young adults who discern a year of service commitment are considering something very countercultural. These young people are seeking how their education, passion, and core beliefs might be best used in service to our world.

A year of service is not paid work, but it is rooted in gaining work experience, building professional skills, and applying their lifelong formation as people of service to others.

Benefits of spending a year in service with Marianist PULSE include professional experience and networking. Transportation to the program in Ohio is fully funded, in addition to room, board, and a living stipend. Healthcare is provided and student loans are eligible for deferment, thus relieving financial pressures. In addition, information about graduate programs offering tuition assistance may be explored during this year.

Your peace of mind is important. If your young adult attended a Marianist University, retreat center, LIFE program or parish, you can rest in the assurance that the same Marianist brothers, sisters, priests and lay Marianists who cared for your young adult during their educational, parish, or retreat ministry will also be present to support, mentor, and journey with them during their PULSE year.

- Monthly Living Stipend
- Room and Board
- Eligibility for Federal Loan Deferment
